Beginners guide to buying $VIBES

Step 1: Set Up MetaMask Wallet

1. Go to the MetaMask website.
2. Choose the appropriate platform for download (Chrome, iOS, Android).
3. After installation, click on the MetaMask icon on your browser or open the app.
4. Click on “Create a Wallet” if it’s your first time using MetaMask.
5. Follow the prompts to create a new wallet. You’ll set a password and MetaMask will generate a 12-word seed phrase for you.
6. Important: Make sure to write down the seed phrase and store it in a safe and secure place. This is the only way to recover your wallet if you forget your password or lose access to your device. Anyone who has access to this phrase can take control of your assets, so keep it private.

Step 2: Transfer ETH to MetaMask

To purchase $VIBES, you’ll need some ETH in your MetaMask wallet.

1. Go to your MetaMask wallet and click on the account name at the top of the wallet view. This will copy your account address to the clipboard.
2. On your cryptocurrency exchange where you hold your ETH (Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, etc.), go to the send/withdrawal page.
3. Paste your MetaMask account address into the ‘recipient’ box.

Step 3: Connect MetaMask to Uniswap

1. Go to the Uniswap website.
2. Click on “Use Uniswap”.
3. In the top right corner, click on “Connect to a Wallet”.
4. Choose MetaMask from the list of wallets.

Step 4: Buy $VIBES

1. You’re now ready to buy $VIBES. Click on “Select a token” and paste the contract address for $VIBES into the search field. If you can’t find it, visit the Dextools page for $VIBES at the provided link: VIBES Dextools page.
2. Enter the amount of ETH you want to spend.
3. Click on “Swap”.
4. A window will open detailing your transaction. Make sure everything looks correct.
5. Click on “Confirm Swap”.
6. MetaMask will then ask you to confirm the transaction. Review the gas fees and total cost before clicking on “Confirm”.

Congratulations, you’ve just bought $VIBES!

Step 5: Add $VIBES to MetaMask

1. After purchasing, you might want to add $VIBES to your MetaMask assets list.
2. Click on “Add Token” at the bottom of the MetaMask wallet.
3. Go to the “Custom Token” tab.
4. Paste the contract address for $VIBES.
5. The other fields should autofill. Click on “Next” then “Add Tokens”.

Remember, the safety of your funds is largely dependent on how you manage your private keys. Never share them with anyone and always store them in a secure location.
